Went to this dentist as an emergency, she just slapped a temp filling on and said I'd need to get into another dentist to have a full filling out in but I'm going to struggle to get an appointment. Ended up going private and he was appalled. She didn't even clean it out as she didn't want to make it worse. Private dentist said it looked like she'd thrown my tooth against a wall and hadn't done it properly at all. 4 sessions of root canal or tooth out was what he advised although with the amount of pain I was in he said he'd lean towards taking it out. Due to the amount of pain I was in I went with taking it out. Of she had cleaned it and put the temp filling in I would still have that tooth. After seeing this practice i Was still in agony.
RUDE, absolutely shocking manners from the dentist I saw with my daughter. Very confrontational until I returned the same approach. Maybe they need to assess where the NHS tax payers money comes from....working parents like myself. I will definitely be trying to look elsewhere for another dentist. Id rather pay private than put up with a moron with short man sydrome!
Dentist was rude and never said what he was doing, complained that I had made an emergency appointment and shouldn't have when I was in a lot of pain and the tooth was infected. They also make you fill in a sheet which includes whether you are anxious and want the dentist to talk to you more about different options but the dentist never even looked at this. The whole thing was very rushed, ended up going private at Shakespeare house in Grimsby where they had all the time in the world, properly checked my teeth, told me what was wrong and properly talked me through my options. Would never go here again as they're an extreme lack of care and the dentist clearly don't care about the welfare of patients.
Whilst on holiday in the area I had to book an emergency appointment. Easy, only finding a parking space and the place was more difficult! Reception was warm and welcoming and the dentist I saw was amazing. In the morning I couldn't eat and the next day I could! I was warned I might feel some pain, but felt nothing. I had to ask if the dentist had finished. Just wish all dentists were like this!
Amazing dentist would not have a bad word about this practice and the staff are so friendly and explain everything so clearly. Could not be happier
