Fantastic place to go! Please don't though, its getting so popular people like us just can't keep going back for its charm! Foods always good to better, beers are always good, nice selection of wines and normal spirits as you would expect. Idilic setting, lots of walks around to end up back at! Win, win!
Visit was on a Friday lunchtime. An old fashioned English pub with modern additions. We ate in the large conservatory which has a nice ambiance. The food was good but not inexpensive. The staff were attentive and polite although the food took a while to come, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. There is a beer garden on the grass outside and the grounds are pleasant for a beer on a sunny day.Worth a visit
