Great place to stay been going there for 14 years
Clean & Quiet
I stayed here a while ago with my 2 young children and dog (by arrangement).As we arrived the first words from the couple who appear to run the place (they live there) were the dog stays on a lead and we we subjected to several days of what I can only describe as harassment from the male of the couple.Traffic cones were placed outside of our cottage to indicate where we were allowed to park (the place was deserted) and if we moved them an inch they were silently moved back.I received several lectures on the terms and conditions of rental.Those reading this might think that I was a problem guest, but I can assure you we did nothing wrong - no noise, wild parties, alcohol - it was just a short break to visit the Lincolnshire coast.On the plus side the cottage was clean.My advice is to avoid the place, which is not even that pleasant in its own right ( ie notwithstanding the owners). Although it appears to be remote and quiet you can clearly hear constant traffic noise from a nearby main busy road. The landscape is flat and featureless and frankly rather depressing.Zero stars if such existed .
Good value, nice cottage and great for kids. Louth is pretty
Have stayed here several times on photography trips. All the properties we've stayed in have been comfortable and well-equipped, and we have always enjoyed our stay. I do not think the 1* review is a genuine customer.
