Lovely home cooked food. Fresh to order... plenty of gluten free and vegan options. Nowhere else in louth has this. Definitely recommend. Very dog friendly/family orientated pub..Any occasion, celebration catered for. Birthdays, anniversaries, hen night's, stag night's, baby showers, weddings and wakes... Pool table, darts board, weekly dominoes, poker night.... just call in and see for yourself.

Went with my wife and toddler for a bite to eat before a walk. Very friendly and accommodating staff. AWESOME food (burgers are unbelievable). Staff very helpful in suggesting local areas for walks. Overall a lovely experience. We will definately return!
Lovely old fashioned pub with a small restaurant attached. Food was superb and host Billy was friendly and made us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.
This pub was set amongst several historic buildings in the wool trading district of town. Interesting pictures on the wall and helpful landlord filled us in on the locality and it's trade. The food was typical pub fare and while reasonably priced wasn't outstanding. Still a good place to go for a pint and a snack.
