This was our first holiday away with our dog Stella, and Paul & Jane have set the bar high. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown to our cottage which was modern and spotless. The welcome box with the essentials after a long journey was a nice touch. All on one level, everything was easily accessible for my less agile mum. A variety of literature on things to do in the area was available and most useful. Plenty of land to the rear for the dog to run around and chase the rabbits. Throughout our stay Paul & Jane couldn't have been more helpful and their local knowledge of the best places to eat was appreciated. A great base for exploring the Wolds or visiting the coast, we will definitely be returning one day.
This is our second visit to these delightful cottages and, as we return to the area on a regular basis, we will always endeavour to take advantage of the exceptionally high standard of accommodation. Jane and Paul are absolutely delightful, nothing is ever too much trouble and its like being welcomed as long lost friends.See you both in November / December !!
On arrival at Pied Wagtail cottage we were given a warm welcome by Jane and Paul. They were most helpful explaining the facilities. On opening the door we were greeted with the WOW factor. It is decorated beautifully. A pleasant welcome pack awaited us. We very much enjoyed our walks in the meadow and the paddock is mowed, with a picnic table and is a lovely area. What a pity we could only stay for a few days. Thank you.
