An amazing public house with a huge range of beers and drinks on offer. Fantastic home cooked food,friendly owners and staff.10/10 And I shall be returning for more soon.
We went for a family meal on the 30th of December 2018. The staff and owner were very welcoming, they had orginised a large table for us all in a separate room, they started the log fire and treated us very well. Then the food came out, and it was superb. The lamb was flavoursome and tender. The portion size was massive and they was always checking to see if we needed drinks or anything else. Overall a really nice place to eat and drink with welcoming staff.
Cosy old pub with low ceilings, good ales, loud laughter and friendly faces. Every time I am in Louth my feet bring me back to The Wheatsheaf. There are open fires in both rooms and a small sheltered area out the back for smokes.
Linda is a lovely person and the beers good too. Lovely atmosphere and a covered beer garden. Open fires and character a plenty
