Lovely pub but very unwelcoming barmaid. Made us feel uncomfortable. Very sour to New comers. Would of stay for food but disinterested even after asking if room at back did food. Never offered menu and said dogs allowed in bar implying what?? OK maybe had a bad day. Will give u another try as was a lovely pub
The woman who manages this place (long, fair, curly hair) is exceptionally rude and I will not visit that place again. I feel very sorry for her staff, who seemed great. I guess it's worth the one star we're forced to give, as the food is ok and the surroundings are pleasant.
Really friendly pub with good atmosphere and food. One of the few pubs in Louth that are dog friendly as well!!
Good pint, good food served by very attentive Staff even brought our second drink to the table. Well done and thanks Rob& Trish
Dog friendly!!! (can go in bar and garden area but not the dining area). One of the nicest beer gardens I've seen with plenty of seating - Outdoor bins are fenced off nicely and there are flowers everywhere making it quite pleasant. Has a Classic old pub feel inside with low ceilings and old decor. Has a nice range of beers on tap and the staff (and regulars!) are very helpful and pleasant. Does not do food on a Tuesday evening we found out though :(
